Montana New Deal County Atlas

The County Atlas is a statewide reconstruction of New Deal landscapes across Montana. Each county page documents CCC camps, WPA civic works, RA/FSA land projects, SCS conservation landscapes, REA electrification, grazing districts, and surviving cultural landscapes. Together, these pages form the first comprehensive, county‑by‑county record of how federal programs reshaped Montana between 1933 and 1943.
